The following outlines the procedure for making eKitting operational with scanners.
2.Create Models and Options, making sure that option names match any option names included in the BOM
3.Create Routing
a.If no routing exists, create a routing with at least 1 operation and 1 activity per station that will be delivered to

b.If no time exists for the activity(ies), add Estimated Time for each activity
c.With Consumption Workbench, add Consumption in activity(ies) from the imported BOM, using the correct model/option mapping for the consumed parts
d.Establish Model Option Mapping for activity(ies)
4.Create Stations for Delivery

a.In the Plant Editor create station(s) for delivery, making sure that the operation(s) in the routing have their corresponding stations selected
5.Add Operator ID to Activity(s)
a.Run a Line Balance for the routing being used

b.Save and close
7.Create a Work Schedule
a.Create a new study in sequence Planner, using the routing made in step 3
b.Make sure that the dates for the study are correct. eKitting Dashboard will not function outside of these dates
10.Create Cart Types and carts
11.Create Locations and Supply Systems
12.Create Part Plans using the previously imported BOM data
13.Print Cart Labels and Rack Labels
a.For Carts, select Containers in PFEP Module and go to the Cart tab.
b.Select the row number header for the cart(s) to be printed
c.Select Reports from the upper toolbar, and select Print Cart Labels.
d.A preview will be generated of the barcode(s) that can be printed and exported to a saved document.

f.Make sure that the printer being used has a high enough resolution for barcodes. Run a quick scanning test to on a printed labels confirm this.
14.Publish Sequence Study
15.Publish Part Plan Data and BOM Data
16.Establish a procedure for running "jobs" after publishing with Proplanner. This will activate the data that has been published from Assembly Planner.
17.Place Labels on carts, containers, and racks
