The properties tab shows standard information about the component. Some particularly useful fields are 'IsModel' and 'IsOption.' These help define how models and options should be automatically mapped through consumption using the Automatic Model-Option Mapping available in Assembly Planner. Note: Although the fields are standard, some may not apply to your data.

You will also see the routing map in this tab, which is relevant for machined items whose routing IDs match the item IDs. If the item has a matching routing (and/or alternate routings), the matching routing(s) will appear in this routing map automatically. You can double click on one of the routings in the list to open the routing. The routing number at the top right of the component header shows the current routing.
