This tab only applies to the optional PFEP (Plan For Every Part) module. PFEP is not included in the standard version of Assembly Planner.

Dimension Unit sets the default dimension unit used in PFEP.
Weight Unit sets the default weight unit used in PFEP.
Default Work Schedule
The times displayed in reports exclude any scheduled breaks and down days. This means, for example, if a Kanban ID is requested fifteen minutes before a thirty minute break and is delivered 10 minutes after the break, the cycle time will be twenty-five rather than fifty-five.

Exceptions to this work schedule are managed in Tools > Work Schedule Maintenance.
Shifts/Breaks
All three shifts must begin and end within the same 24-hour period. The third shift cannot start after midnight. In Assembly Planner, a 12:00 am to 6:00 am shift would need to be defined as 'Shift 1'.

Up to 12 breaks during a 24-hour period are accommodated. The breaks should be entered sequentially; they will automatically be assigned to the appropriate shift.

Holidays
Click 'Add' to enter the date and description of a holiday. These holidays are not specific to a year; any holidays for which the date changes from year to year (e.g. Thanksgiving, Memorial Day) will need to be modified each year, or handled in Tools > Work Schedule Maintenance.
