Publishing is the tool used for moving information from the Assembly Planner authoring database to the Shop Floor, or thinclient, database. The Shop Floor database houses the shop floor work instructions displayed as well as any PFEP part plans currently in use.

Note: Orders do not need to be published via this tool; the Order Data Management tool brings order data directly into the Shop Floor database.
