The Build List menu is used for viewing the build list for the current day and searching for work instructions by serial number.
By clicking on the Get Build List button, users can view the serial number, VIN, model, model description, and options for each part currently in the build list. Clicking on the serial number hot link will display the corresponding work instruction, but will not sign the operator on to the unit.
If the serial number is known, users can type or scan it into the Enter Serial No field and click on the View Instructions button. The work instructions for that serial number will then be displayed. When an operator views instructions in this manner, the system also assigns the instructions to operator, meaning he or she is now responsible for completing the instructions.
