Selecting Roles allows users to access the Role Management and Role Privileges. From the Role Management table, users can view the list of roles, role descriptions, count of users assigned to role types, and clarification if the role is a system role or not. Users also have the ability to create new roles, create new roles as a copy from existing roles, and to delete existing roles.

Selecting Role Privileges allows the user to adjust the privileges for user-defined roles.

System defined roles have privileges found within the Role Privileges tree and also privileges which are not available via the Role Privileges tree.
User Roles
When an administrator adds a new user to the system, he or she assigns each user a role. The table below shows the rights each user type has.
